Processing by social networks
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The networks described in the previous notice are listed below.
Social networks can analyse user behaviour when you visit their websites or pages containing embedded social media content, such as like buttons or advertising banners. Visiting our social media profiles may trigger the following processing.
If you are signed into a social media account, the platform operator may associate your visit with that account. Personal data may also be collected when you are not signed in or do not have an account, for example through cookies stored on your device or your IP address.
Platform operators may use the data to create profiles of your preferences and interests and show interest-based advertising on and outside the platform. If you have an account, advertising may appear across devices on which you are or were signed in.
We cannot fully determine all processing performed by platform operators. Additional processing may take place depending on the provider. Refer to each platform’s terms and privacy policy for details.
Legal basis
Our social media presence is intended to provide a broad online presence, described in the previous notice as a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Analysis performed by the networks may rely on other legal bases specified by their operators, such as consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Controller and exercise of rights
When you visit our social media profiles, we and the platform operator may be jointly responsible for processing triggered by that visit. In principle, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and complaint with either us or the platform operator.
Despite joint responsibility, our influence over the platform’s processing is limited and depends substantially on the provider’s policies.
Retention
Data collected directly by us through social media is deleted when its storage purpose no longer applies, you request erasure or withdraw consent to storage, subject to mandatory statutory retention periods. Cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
We do not control retention of data stored by social network operators for their own purposes. Contact those operators or consult their privacy policies for details.
Individual social networks
