What rights do you have concerning your data?

You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request rectification or erasure. For these matters and other privacy questions, contact us at the address in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

The hosting provider is used to fulfil contracts with potential and existing customers under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and in the interest of secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our hosting provider processes your data only to the extent necessary to fulfil its contractual obligations and follows our instructions concerning that data.

3. General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

The operators of this website take protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection law and this privacy notice.

When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data can identify you personally. This notice explains which data we collect, what we use it for, how it is processed and for what purpose.

Data transmission over the internet, for example in email communications, can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

Information about the controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Markus Reittinger / Hafnerstraße 4 / 93413 Cham / Germany

Phone: 01749915517 / Email: info@handy-alarm.com

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, such as names and email addresses.

Withdrawal of consent to processing

Many processing operations require your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent already given at any time by sending us an informal email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Right to object in particular circumstances and to direct marketing (Article 21 GDPR)

IF PROCESSING IS BASED ON ARTICLE 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU MAY OBJECT AT ANY TIME ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THOSE PROVISIONS. THE APPLICABLE LEGAL BASIS IS STATED IN THIS PRIVACY NOTICE. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR PROCESSING IS NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH, EXERCISE OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS (ARTICLE 21(1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING, YOU MAY OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO PROCESSING FOR THAT PURPOSE, INCLUDING PROFILING RELATED TO DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING (ARTICLE 21(2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If the GDPR is infringed, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. This right applies without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You may receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, or have it provided to a third party, in a commonly used machine-readable format. Direct transfer to another controller will take place only where technically feasible.

SSL and TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security and to protect transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries sent to the website operator. An encrypted connection can be identified by “https://” in the browser’s address bar and the browser’s connection-security indicator.

When SSL or TLS encryption is active, data you send to us is encrypted during transmission. Encryption does not remove all risks at either endpoint.

Access, erasure and rectification

Under applicable law, you may obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing, and where applicable request rectification or erasure. Contact us at the address in the legal notice with these or other questions concerning personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You may request restriction of processing of your personal data by contacting us at the address in the legal notice. This right applies in the following circumstances:

If you contest the accuracy of your personal data, we generally need time to verify it; you may request restriction during that period. If processing is unlawful, you may request restriction instead of erasure. If we no longer need the data but you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, you may request restriction rather than erasure. If you have objected under Article 21(1) GDPR, processing may be restricted while it is determined whose interests prevail.

Once processing is restricted, the data may, apart from storage, be processed only with your consent, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, to protect another person’s rights, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Objection to promotional emails

We object to the use of contact details published in the mandatory legal notice for unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action against unsolicited advertising, including spam emails.

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns performance of a contract or steps before entering into one. In other cases, it is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where requested.

Enquiries by email, phone or fax

When you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry and the personal data it contains, such as your name and enquiry details, are stored and processed to handle your request. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

Data sent in contact enquiries remains with us until you request erasure, withdraw consent to storage or the storage purpose no longer applies, for example after the matter has been resolved. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
